Join us at Winnipeg Bee Maid Bee Supplies for a practical workshop tailored for beginner beekeepers. Presented by the Manitoba Knowledge & Research Transfer Program, the workshop will be held on May 24, starting at 10:30am and running approximately two hours. We'll cover the essentials of spring hive management including:
- Hive inspection basics
- Varroa monitoring and control strategies
- Swarm prevention
- When and how to super your hives
- Q&A on hive equipment and anything else!
Whether you're starting out or want a refresher, this session will help you have a great start to the season!
Upon completion of the workshop, each participant will receive a $25 Bee Supplies gift certificate.
