Join us in Spruce Grove for our Beekeeping Principles Workshop. This session runs from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm at Spruce Grove Bee Maid Bee Supplies and covers a comprehensive range of beekeeping fundamentals and seasonal practices, including:

  • Beginner practices and principles
  • Hive setup 
  • Swarming 
  • Hive practices to help longevity 
  • Bee biology 
  • Building strong hives
  • Installing a nuc or package
  • Unwrapping overwintered hives and assessment 
  • Spring feeding 
  • Mite checks and treatments 
  • Location of hives
  • City Bylaws and Regulations
  • Q&A discussions

Upon completion of the workshop, each participant will receive a certificate of course completion and a $25 Bee Supplies gift certificate.
