Green Drone Frames

The wax-coated counterpart to the original Pierco drone frame. Created in collaboration with Jeff Pettis through a USDA Trust Fund Cooperative Agreement, this drone comb frame was designed as a chemical-free method of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) to combat varroa mites. Its bright green color allows for easy identification in the hive.
