HiveIQ Base Board

The HiveIQ base board is molded with high density EPS for high strength and reduced weight for ease of moving when necessary. The ventilated hive floor is a perforated powder coated aluminum for optimal hive ventilation, improved hive hygiene, and pest protection. The three-stage hive entrance enables the entrance to be opened and closed in one-third increments depending on the colony's strength and conditions. Hive entrance locks on each end locks the entrance in the closed or open position. Grooves on the underside of the base allow a for thin corrugated cardboard or melamine board (not included) to be inserted into the bottom to reduce ventilation if needed.
