MiteGone pads are a slow-release formic acid treatment designed to control Varroa and Tracheal mite in honeybee colonies. They are used in conjunction with a 65% formic acid solution and are designed to be installed in the hive in a way that allows for a controlled release of the acid, minimizing harm to the bees while effectively killing mites.
