Thomas Wax Foundations are produced in a workshop in Fay‑aux‑Loges using wax that is purified, sterilized, and embossed through a casting process. Because natural wax is inherently more brittle, the sheets should be handled with care. For best results, store them at room temperature (20–25°C) the day before use, and minimize the time between warming the frame and installing the foundation to improve its palatability. Over time, natural wax may naturally whiten when exposed to light. Highly regarded by beekeepers across France, these foundation sheets are especially well‑suited for producing cut‑comb honey.
